I bought a pair of these springs for my 30,000 mile 2000 Insight and had them installed at his shop. I also had new shocks installed. These springs make all the difference in the world. In the Honda owners manual, it specifically states that maximum load is 300 lbs. That was because the original rear springs were
too weak. Now--with these Daewoo Matiz springs, the load can easily be 600 or more. My car NEVER comes close to bottoming out and the ride is superb. The rear of the car is only about 1" higher and my fuel economy is unchanged. Driving home to Tucson from Phoenix, I averaged 75 mpg with the air conditioning running constantly. I can't recommend aggressively enough for you or anyone to buy these springs. YOU NEED THEM MORE THAN YOU REALIZE. Honda should have used these very springs when these cars were new. They need no modification what-so-ever.
